Our Story Since 1990
Our Journey
CGPTIA’s story began on 3rd August 1990, when a group of photo goods dealers and photo lab owners came together to form the Gujarat Photographic Dealers Association (GPDA) with just 25 members. As the association grew in strength and purpose, it was renamed to Gujarat Photographic Trade & Industry Association (GPTIA) in 2005. Eventually, it was restructured into a charitable organization known today as The Charitable Group of Photographic Trade & Industry Association (CGPTIA) under Reg. No. F/17270/Ahmedabad.
Today, CGPTIA boasts a vibrant and growing community with over 300 members across Gujarat, continuing its legacy of over 35 years of dedicated service to the photographic industry.
